Newsletter November 2012
As always, it has been awhile since I’ve written a newsletter. Although I feel remiss about not writing my newsletter on a more regular basis, I assure you that my time has been well spent. I am still working on my next book, Achieving A Balanced Life, and I know that this book will be helpful to so many people. So many things have happened in the past few months. I’ve done some traveling and met some wonderful people. I’ve been working very hard these past many years, but this year I am taking time off this holiday to rest and rejuvenate, and to meditate on some very important things in life.
As Thanksgiving Day draws nearer, I can’t help but reflect on my life as a whole, remembering little bits and pieces of where I’ve been, where I am at now, and where I hope to be in the future. This reflection makes me grateful for the journey I’ve thus far had and the people who have shared that journey with me. Though I’ve had my share of difficult times, I focus on the positive things in my past and remember well all the people who made me laugh. I miss my grandfather and remember all the good things he brought into my life. But I don’t discount some of the bad things that have happened to me either, because all of it, everything I’ve experienced has shaped me and molded me into what I am today. And I am pretty darn proud of who I am today. I feel stronger and more balanced than I ever have before, and it is all those things in my past that brought me to where I am right now. As you reflect on your life this Thanksgiving holiday, I hope that you remember fondly the good times and remember well the not so good times in your life. And that you also see all of your life in its entirety as bringing you to where you are today, strengthening you and helping you to become all that you want to be. As you give thanks for the things in your life, don’t forget to honor your soul as well, that guiding force deep within that will never be apart from you. As we honor our own soul this Thanksgiving, we should also honor the soul of all those we meet along the way. In doing so we honor God and pay tribute to humanity. See yourself as blessed. Hope for the best in life. Remember well those who are sharing your journey. And find new ways to laugh every day.
I feel more and more blessed every day that I have been given a gift that helps other people to heal, to rejoice, to share, to succeed, and to be happy. This is a most beautiful thing to me. I hope that each passing day brings you more and more joy, peace, and harmony in your life.
I have so many things coming up in the next year. I will keep you all informed. In the meantime, I am wishing you many blessings and a healthy happy holiday season.
